When I took a Personnel Management course whilst in university (majoring in Insurance, by the way), I was convinced that it was an area I wanted to explore. Starting my career in HR, here are the tips that I swear by: .jpg) ‍ Working in Kora as the lead for people operations has been almost magical. I remember when I  joined Kora, I was seven months pregnant. I was so scared at first and didn’t think I would get the job, but the response was phenomenal. They were all so excited to welcome a Kora baby! Everyone else around me told me I didn’t need to work and that getting a job would be impossible, but Kora gave me the perfect work-life balance. ‍ SoundCloud Widget ‍ Sometimes, I deal with imposter syndrome, but every day, I learn to trust myself and my abilities and not compare myself to others. I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made. ‍ I believe everyone should observe International Women’s Day.
